“My greatest honor has been helping folks realize their ideas through illustration, animation, instruction, and design!”

I'm a veteran illustrator, animator, and designer with 25 years of creative digital art production, direction, marketing, management and teaching experience.

In 1989, I started with a degree in graphic design and print production but soon discovered multimedia. It combined my illustration experience with my love of animation. With the dawn of the “World Wide Web,” I found it a natural fit with my graphic design and multimedia background. I created games to help kids learn and tools to make businesses successful. These experiences continued my career into design for interaction and user experience.

Today I wear many hats as graphic and web designer, and as an adjunct college instructor. I've also served as agency art director, illustrator, animator, marketing consultant and UI/UX designer.

In 1998 while employed as a creative director I started a part time career in teaching. I spent the next seven years as adjunct faculty at The Art Institute of Portland. There I developed coursework in traditional animation, user interface development and interactive design.

I left the Art Institute for an adjunct position at Clark College in 2005. At Clark College I created digital media and web design classes with a focus on design principles and the user experience. I've also served on the Clark College Computer Graphics Technology Department advisory board.
